Description

Custom Applicator operation throughout Eastern Washington and North-east Oregon. Operation excels in custom fertilizer applications on farms. Operation handles and applies both organic and conventional fertilizers. Team member will be directly reporting to owner. Applicator shall be able to mix, load and apply fertilizers and be able to operate the equipment. Applicator is also responsible for maintaining the equipment (cleaning, daily servicing, minor maintenance, etc.). Essential Functions: • Perform any needed calibration on equipment • Perform daily servicing, minor maintenance, and wash down of equipment. • Complete detailed application reports. Requirements: • 2+ years of farming experience • Knowledge of GPS systems • Basic mechanical knowledge • Tractor driving experience • Able to work long hours and 6 days of week • Current and valid driver’s license • Able to pass drug screening (including marijuana and prescription drugs). • Able to provide driving record • Able to provide at least 2 references • Able to lift up to 50 lbs intermittently. • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Ability to understand and communicate in English. • Must be able to work independently or with minimal supervision (self-motivator).
