Burglary Reported At Riverhead Gas Station: Police

RIVERHEAD, NY— A burglar broke into a Riverhead gas station and stole lottery tickets Friday, police said. According to Riverhead Town Police, at 6:10 a.m., a call came in reporting a damaged glass front door at the Empire Gas Station located at 640 Old Country Road. Patrol officers determined that someone had entered the business and and removed the New York State lottery tickets, police said.
