A premier retirement community in beautiful West Seattle is seeking a highly energetic, enthusiastic and self motivated Activity Director for our senior community. The Activities Director should provide an active, and engaging social environment to our assisted living community on a daily basis. Candidate should be able to attain an HCA or CNA license within the first 120 days of employment, valid Washington State Drivers License, CPR/F. Aid certification, or able to attain one within first 30 days, valid food worker card, ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and DSHS fingerprint background check. Sunday thru Thursday schedule, on rare occasions evening Activities. We are looking for a candidate who: Has a genuine love for seniors Has a goal-achievement attitude Has excellent interpersonal skills Communicates effectively verbally and in writing Has an enthusiastic and positive outlook Is computer proficient Has exceptional time management skills Has exceptional driving skills, no special endorsements required to drive our vans Attention to detail, organization, and follow through skills are essential. This position is full time. Must be willing to work at least 1 weekend day per week. Sunday through Thursday is set schedule, should be available, rarely, on some evening outings.
