Shelter bound Pitbull mix seeks forever home

*LUCY WILL BE GOING TO A SHELTER LATER THIS MONTH* *PLEASE DO NOT FLAG THIS POST! * Meet Lucy! She is a loving and playful pit-mix who is looking for a forever home. We believe she is approximately 5 1/2 years old, she is crate and house (doggie door) trained, and love to give lots of kisses! Lucy is eager to please, loyal, but is also an Alpha Dog. We began fostering Lucy at the beginning of the pandemic, and during that time she has gotten along well with our smaller, submissive dog. Lucy still pulls quite hard on walks, as we have not been able to curb that habit; she especially pulls/lunges towards other dogs and small animals, and sometimes to greet people while on walks. As a result we have avoided other dogs and strangers on walks since the beginning. Lucy has not been around cats, but does not appear to be cat-friendly. She does get overly excited when she meets new people, and sometimes pees. Lucy gets along great with kids, and has not growled or shown her teeth to anyone during her time with us. Above all else, she is very affectionate and loves to be held and cuddled. Lucy is definitely a nanny-dog and aside from a few barks, is a quiet dog. Lucy is due in her vaccines but is healthy aside from some seasonal allergy issues that cause swelling in her left ear and in her paws, which are soothed by Benadryl. She has not been to the Vet to have her symptoms evaluated as we have not had the means for Vet services. Lucy does not appear to be spayed.
