Asphalt / Concrete / Site Laborer We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, & hardworking laborer to join our construction team in order to assist in the placing of asphalt and/or concrete for roads, sidewalks, and parking lots or working on site installing utlities. Candidate should be detail oriented and display team spirit. The responsibilities of an Asphalt/Concrete/Site Laborer include, but are not limited to, jackhammering, sweeping, shoveling, raking, compacting, use of a demo saw, & cleaning. Candidate should be physically fit and be able to work long hours in all weather conditions, possible weekend work, holiday, or night work may be required. Asphalt/Concrete/Site Laborer Responsibilities: Offloading the service truck and gathering tools for the day Transporting rakes, lutes, shovels, etc. to the work zone Sweeping and cleaning all areas of work Shoveling of material as needed Maintaining cleanliness and packing equipment away at the end of the day Perform other duties as assigned Asphalt/Concrete/Site Laborer Requirements: Ability to work as part of a team Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to stand for extended hours of time Excellent communication and observation skills Familiar with use of power and hand tools Ability to follow directions Must have a strong work ethic
