Backhoe / Excavator Operator We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, & hardworking laborer to join our construction team in order to assist in the excavating for roads, sidewalks, and parking lots. Candidate should be detail oriented and display team spirit. The responsibilities of a Backhoe/Excavator Operator include, but are not limited to, running equipment to excavate a variety of material, maintain the equipment in good running order. Candidate should be physically fit and be able to work long hours in all weather conditions, possible weekend work, holiday, or night work may be required. Backhoe/Excavator Operator Responsibilities: • Offloading the equipment from transport trailers • Excavating to required depths as needed and directed • Greasing machine on a regular basis • Maintaining cleanliness and packing equipment away at the end of the day • Perform other duties as assigned Backhoe/Excavator Operator Requirements: • RI or MA Hoisting License • Ability to work as part of a team • Reliable transportation to and from work • Ability to stand for extended hours of time • Excellent communication and observation skills • Familiar with use of power and hand tools • Ability to follow directions • Must have a strong work ethic
