Tribute to the Hives?

Thought I'd put it out there to see if there is any interest as I am a huge fan of the Hives and would love to start a tribute band. I love the energy of their music, even though they aren't hugely popular. Anyone else interested? I play guitar and need everything else: drums, bass, second guitar, vocals. I am currently in a band doing a few covers, but we meet sporadically and are just getting together to have fun. I'd like this project to be more focused and work towards local gigs as it seems tribute bands are pretty popular right now. Location needs to be Denver metro area, and the Music Range is a decent place to get together and practice if we don't have a band-member's house available. About me: I'm 52, no drugs and little alcohol (I don't care if that's your thing as long as it doesn't get in the way of this project). I've been playing guitar for 40 years, but don't let that fool you as I am not nearly the guitarist I was in high school or college. I am definitely more of rhythm guitarist v lead as I am a power chord pounder hence my attraction to punk music like the Hives. Ping me if you're interested. -P
