Help us better understand how the taste system works and to develop tests to assess this important sensory system. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? Anyone between the ages of 10 and 90 who are in good health or who have diabetes, a past history of COVID-19, or a diagnosis of early-stage Parkinson's Disease. Participants must live near Haddon Heights, NJ. WHAT IS INVOLVED? You will spend up to two hours at Sensonics International Headquarters in Haddon Heights, NJ, taking one or more taste tests. These tests will require you to report on your taste sensations from strips of paper embedded with sweet, sour, bitter, salty, or savory tasting agents or pulses from a taste testing device called an electrogustometer.
