Construction Yard Assistant WE TRAIN FOR A CIVIL related excavation, grading, concrete CONSTRUCTION career. Looking for a career in construction with excellent benefits? Schedule and Benefits: • $15-16/hr to start Full time and Part Time positions Monday – Friday (no weekends!) • Swing shift 10am - close (6-8pm), Shift times can be flexible • Free hot beverages and occasional pizza/doughnut Fridays • 100% COMPANY PAID medical, dental, & disability insurance, strong 401k retirement plan, paid time off including holidays, AFTER 90 day waiting period. Requirements: • Valid driver's license • Reliable transportation • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently • Work outside in all weather conditions We want to meet you! This is an entry level position. We provide full training (including forklift and flagger certification) to work in our yard located in Sherwood-Wilsonville area. **There is an opportunity for future advancement to work in the field on Concrete & Excavation projects located throughout Oregon. Teamwork is essential to achieve maximum organization, cleanliness, and efficiency. You'll learn how to: • Pick up/arrange for material delivery to yard/projects • Operate forklift to load/unload • Stage and load material • Organize materials in shop and yard • Inventory/inspection/cleaning/repair of materials and tools • Dump runs of construction debris • Indoor and outdoor property maintenance including landscaping, utility inspections and repairs Brown Contracting, Inc. is well established and growing, (25 years in business), with offices and yards in Eugene and just south of Portland.
