Leland Lawn, a leader of quality lawn care and landscaping on the Palouse is looking to expand its team! We are hiring for the position of Senior Irrigation Technician to join our staff. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working outdoors in a fast paced, multi faceted team oriented environment and has a positive attitude. Duties: Under the general supervision of the Irrigation Manager, duties include (but not limited to): Installation and repair of commercial & residential sprinkler systems. Supervision of crew members Seasonal start up and winterization of sprinkler systems. Operation of power equipment and hand tools Manage irrigation supplies and assist with ordering Record keeping of time and materials Other duties related to Landscaping services may be required. Qualifications: 3+ years minimum experience in the field of commercial/residential irrigation installation, maintenance and repairs. 1 year minimum experience in crew supervision of commercial/residential irrigation installation, maintenance and repairs 2+ years minimum experience in excavator, skid steer, trencher and other heavy equipment operations related to irrigation/landscaping Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, walk for over 5-10 miles per day and be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Cannot have major allergies to plants or dust or bee/wasp stings. Must be available 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday and overtime/weekends may be required. Due to the seasonality of our work, you will work with other departments performing various lawn/landscape maintenance related services. Pay rate starts at $24.00 per hour DOE. A relocation stipend may be available. A 90 day probationary period is required.
