ATLANTA, GA — With all the serious news going on in the world, two Atlanta kid entrepreneurs decided to share something a little less intense.
Treandos and brother Noah Thornton shared an adorable video on social media of their #bowtiechallenge. It's their version of the trending #dontrushchallenge that went viral at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.
"It's Wednesday and we are bringing positive vibes your way! We are @tnbowties! Watch our updated #BowTieChallenge video inspired by the popular #DontRushChallenge. We invite you to share this video with others. Thank you. We encourage you to support community youth."
Their mother Shana Thornton told Patch that the initiative "promotes positive imagery of African American youth."
The brothers launched their online business T&N Bow Ties and Apparel in 2017. Treandos is the founder and president and Noah is the vice president.
In March, they created a crowdfunding campaign to help raise money for Atlanta's homeless during the pandemic.
