Dog socialization is VERY important for a healthy and behaviorally happy dog! Join us to find out what GOOD DOG play is all about! **Please note that this class if for HUMANS ONLY! Our staff dogs will happily demonstrate play behaviors throughout the seminar and even give some snuggles too! Please leave all pet dogs at home for a nice quiet nap while you learn!** We all love when our dogs get to visit with their dog friends! But sometimes... it can be a little rough and tumble! This Mini Workshop is all about making sure owners are educated in the art of "reading dog play"! So many times dogs play is mistaken` for something it may not be. Believe it or not... growling, barking and teeth can all be part of healthy play! Let out trainers show you the difference between healthy, happy play and improper play. We will talk to you about reading body language, identifying problematic behaviors, speaking "growl" and many other topics! Plus... we will show you some great tips and tricks to create a happy and well balance player! This Mini Workshop is a great way to get some wonderful knowledge to be used in dog parks, dog bars, daycare, and at home! We want you to be confident in your dog's behavior and play can sometimes be hard to interpret! Plus... (just like human children) some dogs have better social skills and manners than others. We will show you how to start setting good manners! It is all part of being a dog! Thank you so much for your participation in our Mini Workshop Series! We are so excited to offer this budget friendly, fun and informative workshop! Please note that all workshop tickets must be purchased individually. All workshops are designed to be short, participatory and PACKED with information! In order to get to all the info, these workshops move quick so please be punctual and ready to learn! This is an outdoor workshop so please plan appropriately for the weather. Water bottles are encourage, but we ask that you do not bring food to the workshop unless you are bringing for everyone!!
