L.L.Bean Fly Tying Series Class meets on 2nd floor of Hunting & Fishing Store Week 12 Mallard's Better Baitfish Freshwater Streamer. Mallard’s Better Baitfish is an easy and inexpensive fly to tie that is very effective for multiple game species. A take-off on the well-known zonker pattern, it employs a more durable and realistic body as well as eyes to make it look more realistic and help get it down. The Better Baitfish can be tied as a Golden Shiner or Whitefish imitation. Guest Fly Tyer Bob Mallard.
