Hi Gals & Guys: This is a pass-the-hat opportunity for intermediate level guitarists/singers or better who are dead serious about playing music. I am a steel player who will lead the jam. I've been making the open jam scene throughout greater NY for the last 16 years. This jam band may consist of a rotating cast of acoustic guitarists/singers, bassists and percussionists. Songs should be simple no more than 4-6 chords. Sight reading chord charts not required, but you should be able to follow charts while listening to songs being performed. Ex.: C Am Dm G7 or IM VIm IIm V7. After a few jam /rehearsals I will find a pass-the-hat gig. As you know, gigs are difficult enough to find without the added burden of substance abuse issues, so please be drug & alcohol free.
