~ Some pu$$y-a$$ cancel culture bitch(es) keep flagging this ad. You deserve every second of your pathetic life(es) ~ ~~~ NO HIRED GUNS!?! NONE MONEY HERE FOR YOU!? ~~~ I am in the middle of recording an album by myself (desperate times call for desperate measures!?!). This album is due out in Spring of 2022 and I'll need a rhythm section to play live and ideally JOIN/COMMIT to co-write a second album. 1) You must like the music, preferably LOVE it! Think Redd Kross, Cheap Trick, Big Star, The Posies, Teenage Fanclub, etc... 2) You must be able to play well and singing backups will take precedence over all others. This stuff isn't hard but it WILL be played perfect live. I rehearse like Prince and Bowie and take every gig very seriously. 3) You must LOOK rock & roll or be prepared to! Skechers and beer-bellies are not happening. Maroon 5 is not a rock & roll band and we will NOT look like bunch of soccer dads that just loaded out of a Subaru. 4) It's best that you have a day job and/or a life that allows you to dip out for some power weekends (Thurs-Sun) in the Tri-State area over the Summer. There WILL be good shows and they will NOT be to five people in who-knows-where as a complete waste of time and effort. 5) I don't care how old you are (other than over 21 and preferably not collecting Social Security), nor what race or sex you are, as numbers 1-4 are what I'm about. Now, the business end: I and the lead guitarist LOVE to play and be GREAT when doing it! When the band makes money, it's split four ways. This project is for a player of that ilk. NO HIRED GUNS. Most importantly, rehearsals won't cost YOU a dime! You just have to show up to my studio in The Bronx and play MY gear! Bring yours if you want but again, it's FREE! No addicts of any kind, no dicks. Significant others, dependencies, and flaky Bull$hit will not be suffered the first time. Send me some links, pics if you want, maybe your story, etc....it's important that we get along so a decent bassist who jives with us will beat out the best bassist in the city. Dig? We're over 40 but look under for what that's worth and have been playing music live for decades. The album is currently being tracked BUT I have samples to send to those who fit 1 through 4.
