Honoring 2022 Orgullo Hispano Award Recipients: Yolanda Charney, Rita Gallardo, Francisco Ibarra, and Dr. Martha Zapata. Since 2010, this nonprofit organization has been working hard to fulfill its mission of providing charitable relief while improving the quality of life for the impoverished and underprivileged children and families of Per. Mita’s Foundation built a clinic and trade school in the village of Santa Rosa de Quives. Funds raised from the banquet will be used for much needed supplies, medica, and services.
