Sweet German Shepherd needs forever home

Description

Looking for a home for this sweet girl. She’s good with kids and most other dogs. I think she would be happiest with a buddy. The pictures were actually taken at a boarding place when we were out of town so you can see she’s very sweet even with people she’s not familiar with. She requires more care and time than I’m able to give her. She is a great dog. Her only issue is because she’s a rescue from a bad owner, she has yeasty ears and skin so it requires extra TLC. It's not a major or expensive issue but it is one she has. She did great on a raw diet but we couldn’t keep up with it. Adoption fee of $100 Please contact me with any questions. Original post with more info: Sweet rescue from a backyard breeder who gave her no care whatsoever. Approximately 4 years old. She was an emaciated 45 pounds with big bald spots when I got her and now she is at a healthy weight with 99% of her grown back. I can show you a pic so you know about her journey if you want it. She's come a LONG way from when I got her. She is extremely sweet and good with both kids and other animals. She knows some tricks. She's very smart and loyal. Only barks when she hears a noise at the door. She doesn't really bark in the backyard or anything. Walks well on a leash. Loves walks. She's a great companion. Because she was a neglected backyard breeder dog, she has skin issues and ear issues. I have had a lot of frustration in trying to clear these issues up. Maybe someone who has more experience with dogs may find it easier. She did really well while on a raw diet, but I couldn't keep up with it, unfortunately. I want to find her a loving forever home. With someone who is able to give her more care. She will be sad in a place without a backyard or going on walks regularly. She’s not really that playful like fetching a ball but she will sometimes run around with you and loves running around with other dogs for hours. Just not too interested in toys. She requires a lot of companionship and doesn’t like to be left alone. She doesn’t have any behavior issues other than biting or licking herself, especially when left at home alone but she does have anxiety. So someone who works a lot of hours where she’d be alone most of the time wouldn’t be ideal for her personality. She is very dependent on having you with her and gets nervous when left in the car or house by herself. I believe she'd really thrive in a home with another dog and a big yard to run around in. I fostered a puppy for a little while and they were best buds and didn’t stop playing. She's a great dog but just needs more attention from a family who can give that to her.
