Welcome to Dragon Fall Run, the annual Fall Honda S2000 meet Welcome to the annual Fall Honda S2000 meet:  I know your time at Fontana Village and on the Dragon will be as much fun for you as it is for me.  If there's anything that can be done to make your stay more enjoyable, please let either John (vortamock), Tim (SkyladyZ) or me Ken (kgf3076) know. When you arrive, be sure to check the whiteboard in the lobby to see who else has arrived and if there are any early drives or events planned.  Plan your own drive or just explore the area. The Great Smoky Mountains area has lots of great roads and scenery.   A few planned drives for you to join in. Official drive information will be posted in the S2KI Dragon Events forum soon. -Thursday: 3:15 pm - Dinner at Riverstone Family Retaurant: Leave form the Lodge parking lot at 3:15 for a casual drive across the Dragon to the Foothills Parkway to Maryville, TN to meet some of the OKI people. We'll head for Townsend, TN for a group dinner and then, after dinner, we'll d do a night drive across the Dragon to return to Fontana. -Friday: 8:00am - The Dragon Driving Intro: Meet at the parking lot in front of the WIldwood Grill for a drive across the Dragon led by a veteran. Get driving tips, ideas and information that you can use to make your Dragon driiving much more fun. -Friday: 9:30 am: Friday is for Franklin Drive: The Friday drive on Rt 28 to Franklin and lunch at Cafe REL. You have to register for this drive and the number of people is limited to 10 per group. Additional groups of 10 will be added as necessary.  Line up by the ball field (across from the General Store) The Reason we're here: The Dragon Group Drive -Saturday: 8:30am: The Dragon Group Drive Drivers Meeting:  Start lining up at the Ball Field for the Dragon Group Drive. The Drivers meeting will be held via two-way radio so be sure to tune to Channel 4.     -Saturday: 9:15am: Leave the ball field with the group for the drive across the Dragon to the Gravel lot for the group photo.  After the photo, there will be opportunities to participate in drives leaving for Cherohala Skyway and other great local areas. Check the whiteboard in the lobby for drives that leave after the group drive. And the fun and food section: Saturday: 6:00pm: Carolina Room: The bar at the Bears Den lounge kicks off the official Dragon Fall Run buffet.  If you're 21, have an adult beverages. If you're not 21, don't worry, there's something for you as well. Drink in hand, head across the hall to the Carolina Room for the Buffet Banquet. Dinner will be $38 per person and must be paid in advance. Come hungry, it's a buffet. Saturday evenin:: In the main lobby: There will be a lot of socializing, swapping stories (more lies?) and rehashing of the roll-out and your adventures driving the Dragon.  There will also be a bourbon tasting for those over 21. You must be at least 21 to participate in the bourbon tasting but you don't have to be 21 to have a great time.  Now is a good time to start making those plans for Spring and Rock the Dragon. Sunday: Most people will be leaving today, but some will stay over for a while for more Dragon driving and to take advantage of the lighter traffic.  You're welcome to stay over, but if you have to head home, drive carefully and I hope to see you at Rock the Dragon 2023. * Please note that all events may change as we get closer to Dragon Fall Run .  Check S2KI.com's Dragon Events forum for updated information.*   Organizer of Dragon events at Back of The Dragon in Marion, VA  Tail of the Dragon at Deal's Gap, NC, The Gettysburg Get Together. and a bunch of other stuff, the Double Dragon Group, LLC welcomes you.
