This position is responsible for various maintenance duties and handling service requests requiring technical labor skills, including, but not limited to repairs and adjustments, electrical installations, plumbing, pool maintenance, light carpentry/construction, dry walling, painting, vinyl repair and installation and appliance repair. Prepares vacant units for occupancy and completes maintenance checklist. Keeps records of maintenance work performed and materials used. Prior experience in Apartment Maintenance is preferred but not required, Must be able to pass a drug screen. Position requires a HS Diploma or sufficient education and training. Must be a team player, possess basic communication skills and maintain a positive attitude. We are actively recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician with at least 2 years of apartment related work experience for Apartments Communities in Sacramento and surrounding areas. Applicant must be dependable, reliable and hard working. The candidate must have a working knowledge of unit turnover, property upkeep,plumbing, drywall, painting, and appliance repair. Must have strong time management skills with scheduled daily tasks and will be assisting with additional tasks daily, as the job requires. Strong customer service is very important. Calm demeanor while communicating with employees, residents, and vendors is mandatory. Applicant must have a positive attitude, be good at working as a team member, as well as independently. Requirements: *Applicant should be in good physical condition and capable of lifting at least 50 lbs. * Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. * Ability to communicate and write in English. * Work 40 hours a week, 8:00 am-5: 00 pm.
