ATLANTA, GA — Parts of the ceiling at Cat Cora's Kitchen at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport collapsed Thursday, reports WSB. According to airport officials, one customer received emergency assistance.
The station shared photos showing pieces of the ceiling on tables at the Atlanta airport restaurant. The accident occurred close to 8 a.m. in Terminal A.
The restaurant is closed as they make repairs.
Regynald Washington, president of Paradies Lagardère's Dining Division shared a statement with Patch regarding the incident.
"First and foremost, we appreciate the swift response by airport personnel and our own teams in assisting with the situation. The safety of our guests and employees is deeply important to us. We are currently working with the airport and other partners to fully evaluate the situation, including any potential injuries and/or facility damage. We will share the results of our investigation as we receive them."
