Penn State Scranton's 2022 Spring Music Concert ALL AGES Penn State's Scranton Musical Ensembles will present their Annual Spring Concert as a FREE gift to the Greater Scranton Community! Penn State's Scranton Musical Ensembles will present their Annual Spring Concert as a FREE gift to the Greater Scranton Community on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 4pm at The Theater at North. Penn State Scranton's Annual Spring Concert is under the direction of Sharon Ann Toman, Director of Music and Assistant Teaching Professor in Music. Those attending will enjoy performances by the Penn State Scranton Chorale, The Roc[k]tet, and Campus Jazz Band. The Penn State Scranton Chorale, The Roc[k]tet, and the Campus Jazz Band will be performing a variety of music ranging from spirituals, Broadway, to pop music. This year’s performance will feature the Western Wayne Middle School Select Chorus (6th, 7th, and 8th Grades) under the direction of Joyce Covaleski. Joyce Covaleski is the Middle School Chorus Director and teaches at Western Wayne Middle School in Lake Ariel. A special joint performance featuring a patriotic song will be performed by the Western Wayne Middle School Select Chorus and the Penn State Scranton Chorale. Admission to the performance is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 3:30pm.
