HOURS: Full Time ~20-25 hours/week, non-exempt, –Shift 4PM to 9PM (M-F)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overview
• Ability to understand and take written and verbal instruction and produce results with little supervision.
• Identify and document discovered issues or findings of failed or damaged equipment or resources to the Facilities Manager, for scheduling of repair or replacement.
• Facilitate the cleaning and disinfecting required to support Timberlake Church and Timberlake Christian Preschool (TCP).
Tasks and Responsibilities.
• Maintain routine schedule, that is required to systematically clean & disinfect all areas.
1. Offices, Classrooms, Kitchen & Restrooms
1. Kitchen (remove all rolling racks, garbage cans, and mats from kitchen before start)
2. Empty trash & Recycling receptacles
3. Wipe down trash receptacles.
4. Assess and stock all missing supplies from Kitchen & Classrooms.
5. Wipe down and disinfect all counters and tabletops.
6. Wipe down & disinfect doorknobs and “touch areas”.
7. Clean windows & door glass.
8. Dry mop all hard surfaces.
9. Vacuum all carpeting.
10. Mop all hard surface floors.
11. Locate carpet stains that require spot cleaning – Schedule.
• Ensure that all custodial closets are adequately stocked.
• Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES
• Skilled with basic hand tools and cleaning methods.
• Ability to teach and coach others in areas of cleaning.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure.
• Self-starter needing minimal supervision.
• Works well with others and within a team
• Well organized
