Mann Performing Arts Hall as part of the Fort Myers Community Concert Association season. Mann Performing Arts Hall box office at 239- 481-4849 or visit www.bbmannpah.com The Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass is internationally acclaimed for bringing the joyous experience of great music.  The group breaks the usual barriers between genres playing everything from Handel and Sousa to New Orleans traditional.  The ensemble is composed of some of America's top brass musicians, who have appeared on the world's most prominent stages and performed with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and the Boston Brass. "We have been fortunate this year to attract some of the most outstanding artists in the world today, thanks to the generosity of our major underwriters and supporters," Mann said. The Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass is the third concert of the season for the Fort Myers Community Concert Association. The Fort Myers Community Concert Association, now in its 72nd concert season, is an all-volunteer not-for-profit organization founded by the legendary Barbara B. Mann in 1949 to bring world-class entertainment to Southwest Florida at affordable prices.  The association consists of more than 1,200 members, underwriters and sponsors.  Performers brought to Fort Myers in the past by the association include The Israel Ballet, The Boston Brass, Minnesota Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, Vienna Boys Choir, Pianist Andre Watts, Flutist James Galway, Violinist Joshua Bell with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields and many others.
