WINCHESTER, MA — Winchester High School made it onto the list of the top 100 schools in the state. Niche.com released the list that includes both private and public elementary, middle and high schools. Winchester High ranked 73rd on Niche's list.
Winchester High has 1,268 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1. According to state test scores, 97 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 99 percent in reading. the graduation rate in the school is 99 percent and the average SAT score is 1330, according to Niche.
The school was highlighted by Niche for several categories including best college prep public high schools in the state, best public high schools in the state and best high schools for STEM in the state.
