Press release from the City of Spokane: 2022-02-01 Shooting near E. Sprague Ave and S. Crestline St. On January 31, 2022 at 5:30 pm officers were dispatched to 2020 E. Sprague Ave for a shooting.  Dispatch received multiple calls about shots being fired around the location.  Several callers said the shooter already drove out of the area.  Officers arrived on scene and determined there were no injuries.  Officers are actively investigating this incident and are following up on leads. Initially E. Sprague Ave and S. Crestline St. was closed but now all roads are re-opened. Any witnesses who have not spoken with police are asked to call Crime Check and reference incident #2022-20016990.
