ATLANTA, GA — President Donald Trump is still refusing to admit defeat in the 2020 presidential election, and his latest attempt at interfering with results was done by phone call to Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp. During the call made Saturday morning, Trump reportedly pressured Kemp to persuade the state legislature to overturn President-elect Joe Biden's victory in the state, sources told The Washington Post. He also asked the governor to order an audit of absentee ballot signatures. Kemp declined the request, the source told The Post. The governor also confirmed the conversation in an afternoon tweet, in which he said he's already called for a signature audit. Trump is scheduled to be in Georgia on Saturday night, where he will rally for incumbent GOP Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler. Both candidates are facing a runoff election on Jan. 5.
