ATLANTA, GA — A Georgia couple has been arrested for the death of a 5-year-old girl who weighed only 7 pounds when she died in June in an Atlanta hospital. Jerrail Maurice Mickens, 31, and Porscha Danielle Michens, 29, were arrested Tuesday morning in Hall County, reported WSB. Both have been charged with felony murder and first-degree cruelty to children. They will appear before a judge on Wednesday. The child died June 8 of dehydration and malnutrition due to medical neglect, according to an autopsy.
