GROTON, CT - A Groton resident is $10,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in New London earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On January 31, Michael Stokes, of Groton, purchased a 10X Cash 15th Edition ticket from the Bestway in New London and won $10,000.
