Description

We are looking for experienced painters to paint vacant apartments and homes. Your job will be important because good painting has both practical and aesthetic benefits. A good painter has experience in painting with various tools and in various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. You must be reliable as well as possess great attention to detail in completing your duties. The goal is to deliver high-quality painting work. Our communities are located throughout the Gulf Coast area. Pay is a weekly salary. The dress code is painter's whites. You will need to follow a task list that will be posted in our app that you will have to use. Your work will be inspected upon completion. The schedule is Monday thru Friday 8-5 with a one hour lunch break taken at the time of your choosing. We will supply you with paint, all necessary tools, and a company vehicle to travel to and from jobs. Requirements: Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Pass a background check Pass a drug test Good references Written paint assessment Proven experience Responsibilities: Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, nails, and curtain brackets Fill cracks and nail holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster) Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools Using a paint sprayer when necessary Carry out special projects such as: drywall repairs, texture repairs, ceiling repairs, cabinet paint, ceiling paint, sheet rock repairs, knock down texture, popcorn texture, and orange peel Follow all health and safety guidelines Notify area manager of upcharges and any repairs needed Cooperate with the rest of the staff Keep company car stocked with all the materials that you will need Weekly cleaning of company car Moving heavy objects such as ovens, refrigerators, and washers and dryers Using our software system
