BIRMINGHAM, AL — A man was killed Tuesday night in what marked the 100th homicide in Birmingham in 2020. The incident occurred just after 6:30 p.m. on 21st Street. Although details of the shooting are limited, Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said Reynard Orr, of Bessemer was found inside a home at 2803 21st Street in Ensley and was taken to a hospital where he later was pronounced dead. Mauldin said an altercation occurred before the shooting, but no suspects are in custody. Anyone with information on this case us asked to contact the Birmingham PD Homicide Unit at 205-254-1764.
