DENVER, CO — The National Weather Service initiated a winter weather warning Tuesday evening for most of the state that remains in effect until midnight Wednesday. Heavy snow is still falling in some areas, and roads are slick and hazardous. Parts of the state are thus far reporting upward of 20 inches of snowfall, according to the National Weather Service, with parts of Denver and Aurora reporting more than 10 inches and Boulder reporting more than 8.
