WINCHESTER, MA — A heavy police presence was spotted in Winchester around Dartmouth Street on Monday after an underground gas line was reportedly leaking. The gas line was connected to several homes in the area. Police cleared the homes along the line to make sure gas wasn't leaking inside as well — they quickly deemed the area safe and allowed residents back inside.
