Description
LISC AmeriCorps is seeking a full-time AmeriCorps member to serve as a Volunteer & Engagement Assistant at La Casa de Don Pedro who will increase volunteer engagement, increase awareness of La Casa de Don Pedro's programs and services to prospective participants through social media, and help plan and implement volunteer driven events, among many other duties.
The ideal candidate will have the desire and ability to work with a diverse group of people, particularly those living in low-income distressed neighborhoods, ability to work a flexible schedule (some night and weekends may be required), social media savvy and comfortable using at least two of the following: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or LinkedIn, English & Spanish bilingual (written and spoken required), must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and must be able to meet all AmeriCorps eligibility requirements.
