Press release from Western Kentucky University: February 1, 2022 Lucas Moore comes from a long line of Hilltoppers and educators. Originally from Battletown, Kentucky in Meade County, Lucas is an elementary education major who, once he graduates, will be a third generation WKU graduate and fourth generation teacher. Lucas says that WKU in Elizabethtown has made it more convenient for him to earn his degree without disrupting his busy life. "WKU-Etown is near enough to me that I can commute, allowing me to remain in my home and continue working as a substitute teacher in my local school district," said Lucas.
