Hi! Please allow me to introduce you to Lyric, my Sun Conure. She's a little more than 1 Year old and was purchased from a very reputable breeder in Florida. I have had her since she was about 12 weeks old. With a heavy heart, my wife and I have decided it's time to rehome her. The primary reason is that we are moving to another state in a few months and relocating her will be extremely difficult. On top of that, we have a 4 Month Old baby that's making it exceedingly difficult for us to manage. I have not been able to give her the time and attention she really needs and deserves, so I'm very begrudgingly biting the bullet and willing to allow someone else to do for her what I cannot. She's very sweet and non-aggressive. She has a limited vocabulary, however does say a few things! She just started to fly, it took a long time for her flight feathers to come in, so.. it's really the ideal time to rehome her, as whoever takes over from here can really bond with her in flight training etc. On THAT note; It is extremely important to me that whoever is interested in Lyric has some experience and knowledge with taking care of birds, ideally this type of bird. I will not rehome her to anyone who doesn't have the time or patience to spend with her. These birds really love schedules and they love interaction. Keeping them in the cage too often isn't ideal at all and they can become territorial. She has demonstrated minor signs of this due to my inability to have her out all the time. REHOMING FEE: $1200 Rehoming Fee includes: Lyric and Everything I have for her. That includes 2 Cages (one Large one Small), a nice Bird Tree, all her toys and any food I have, and any accessories such as a bathing perch for the bathroom and the little hand-held carry crate she came with (which may still be the ideal way to move her to her new home).
