TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Manchester Township man is facing 25 counts of aggravated arson in connection with multiple fires in Ocean County last year, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday. Gregory P. Fullman, Jr., 32, was arrested Monday, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. The fires were in Little Egg Harbor, Manchester, and Lakewood from May 2021 and January 2022. He is being held in the Ocean County Jail, awaiting a detention hearing, the prosecutor's said. The investigation revealed that Fullman was responsible for setting fires and destroying or damaging wooded areas in Little Egg Harbor Township on May 16 and Dec. 8; in Manchester on Dec. 1 and Dec. 16, and Lakewood on Dec. 1 and Jan. 21, 2022. "I extend my sincere appreciation to the many law enforcement agencies that were involved in this very thorough and wide-ranging investigation," Billhimer said. "The resolve and determination exhibited by these professionals over the last eight months has resulted in this arrest. " "I am thankful for their hard work, and grateful that no one was hurt or killed as a result of these fires," he said.
