ATLANTA, GA — Whether you need to grab a few last-minute gifts, you're just starting your holiday shopping or you need to return a Christmas gift, Atlanta-area malls are open for extended hours to meet your shopping needs — whatever they may be. While nearly every area shopping center is closed on Christmas Day — Friday, Dec. 25 — so employees can enjoy the holiday with their loved ones, some retailers and grocery stores will be open on Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
