EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — East Providence will receive another round of at-home COVID-19 testing kits, which will primarily be distributed to local businesses, Mayor Bob DaSilva said Tuesday. "The City of East Providence will be receiving approximately 16,000 at-home COVID-19 test kits for our residents and businesses," DaSilva said in a statement. "We will be distributing these kits to the community as rapidly as possible. During this round, we will be distributing test kits to businesses in East Providence so that they can help keep their workforce safe." DaSilva said business owners can request test kits by filling out the following form. Although the most recent round of test kits are primarily for businesses, city officials said there are still a limited number available for residents. Residents in need of test kits can pick them up at the Mayor's Office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., any day this week while supplies last.
