***URGENT ZUKO WILL BE PUT DOWN FEB 3 ANYTIME -HE NEEDS A FOSTER IN ORDER TO LIVE........ Zuko is a gorgeous German Shepherd mix who needs a home with NO other pets to crowd his vibe! Zuko was in a home for about a week, but his home had another dog. It sounds like they were put together on day one and Zuko became protective and agitated with the other dog whenever they were in the same room. Now at the shelter he is looking over his shoulder at the other 400 dogs and is obviously very upset. When he was in a room with just people, he was easy to walk on leash, wagging his tail, and liked getting pets! In the play yard he has shown off his playbow and social skills! He knows how to Sit for treats! Zuko is only 2 years old, so he is still learning that jumping up for attention isn't good manners. Zuko knows his name and will listen to commands on cue! When treats are available, he takes them gently from your hand and might do well with kids as young as 10. Zuko has no bites on his record, however he hates his kennel and doggie neighbors, he must go to a home with NO other pets or small kids who might grab at him. He also must have his own yard, no apartments/townhome/condo has to have a secure fenced yard for this guy.
