Lien Animal Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Housekeeper to join their team!Those who have the ability to perform custodial, janitorial or housekeeping work would be a good fit for this role. The Clinic Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital and the surrounding outside area. The Clinic Custodian's attention to detail and ability to be organized are very important. Duties include but are not limited to deep cleaning daily, cleaning floors, restocking medical supplies, using disinfectants and coming in to contact with bodily fluids and known or unknown pathogens. The Clinic Custodian is responsible for the overall comfort & cleanliness of our clinic. Having a clean clinic is not only important because it provides a safe and pleasant atmosphere for our clients and staff but also because it is essential to the health and welfare of our patients. Because our clinic focuses on the health and well-being of our staff, clients and patients, it is imperative that the Clinic Custodian be on time to work and attend to his or her duties in a regular, orderly manner. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Computer knowledge required; comfortable with Word, keyboarding and use of communication tools such as instant messenger and email. Typing skills required (30 words per minute minimum) This position requires basic math skills and the ability to work well with others. Work requires lifting patients and equipment up to 50 pounds unaided and able to stand or walk for most of the day. May be exposed to unpleasant odors, noises and animal feces. May be exposed to bites, scratches and contagious diseases. PI163617479
