TRUST Property Management is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our property management team in maintaining and repairing residential units in our communities created to provide permanent supportive housing to those that experienced homelessness, prolonged extreme poverty, poor health, disabilities, mental illness and/or addiction can lead safe, stable lives in wellness. The Maintenance Technician works as part of a team to ensure that the property is maintained in the best physical condition possible and that all resident service requests are completed in a timely manner, in accordance with all SRHT Property Management Company policies, standards and procedures. Duties include the following: Perform property maintenance and repairs including but not limited to, plastering, painting, plumbing (unclogging toilets and drains,) carpentry, drywall installation, mechanical, electrical, HVAC equipment and appliance repairs; Prioritize, schedule and complete resident service requests for repairs and maintenance Prepare properties for inspections by regulatory agencies; Coordinate and monitor progress of vendors or outside contractors who are completing repairs and upgrades; Inspect property daily and report any needed repairs Provide preventative maintenance services Prepare and maintain all appropriate equipment inspection and preventative maintenance logs Maintain the maintenance equipment supplies (spare parts) inventory and order as needed; Complete all paperwork (i.e., preventative maintenance schedules, reports, daily log reports, work orders, etc.) on a daily basis; Complete or assist in the completion of unit turnovers as assigned, including painting or touch-up painting; Regularly participates in employee staff development and training meetings; Regularly participates in safety training meetings; Cooperates with Human Resources in the investigation of all employee injuries and accidents; Uses proper safety equipment and follows safe work practices and procedures; Follows organization safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations; Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required; Some college and/or trade school preferred; A minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance work
