Description
DANVERS, MA — Some Danvers residents may notice discolored water this week after the town installed a "chlorine booster" aimed at improving the water quality throughout the town.
The booster, which is being added in conjunction with Scherbon Consolidated, requires additional piping and the and the Folly Hill Tank taken out of service for a few weeks.
"There should be little or no effect to the distribution system," the Danvers Department of Public Works said. "Customers may experience discolored water, but only need to run a faucet to clear the water."
Those with questions are asked to call the Engineering Division at 978-774-0005 Ext. 3619.
