This is a vital position to the roofing production at Bates Roofing. It requires commitment, consistency, and communication to be properly prepared with manpower, supplies, and equipment for each project. The tasks listed below are an outline of this position and other duties may be assigned as needed. This position carries a large variety of necessary daily functions. Flexibility, initiative, and a strong desire to exceed expectations are the most valuable components of this position. Prepare shop materials and tools for daily work schedule. Assist work teams with job info, safety requirements and equipment Jobsite safety inspections Material, supply delivery and dump runs as needed General shop/yard upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness. Includes the storage, upkeep and maintenance of all shop equipment and supplies, inventory, tool accessibility and checkout/return information. Maintain shop organization, including tool maintenance and repair Fleet upkeep and cleaning, request maintenance as needed Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers and management, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner Most work will be outdoors and requires the ability to lift up to 75lbs. Ladder use is required.
