Details: Open Position: Journeyman Plumber Wages offered: $28 to $32/hour Job Type: Full Time Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (Saturday’s required in case of inclement weather) Possible overtime. Possible Start Date: We are hiring immediately. Locations: Springtown and Weatherford, TX Employee expectations: Apart from knowing your trade, all that we ask is that you are reliable, respectful, punctual, open to new methods of construction, able to follow directions, work in a safe manner, and ready to get the job done. Job Description: As a journeyman plumber, you will be charged with roughing in our houses, installing plumbing fixtures, and supervising the plumber apprentices. You will be responsible for coordinating with the Front Line Production Manager, adhering to the production schedule, and reporting any issues to upper management if they should arise. You will also be responsible for reporting daily production updates to the management team. Kairos Homes builds their houses much like an assembly line. We have a team that does nothing but build and erect the walls, a team that puts up the joists, and a team dedicated to erecting the roof. You will be assessed on your first day to determine which team you qualified best for and placed on that team. This will be based upon your practical interview which will occur first thing on your “start date”. If it is determined that you are not qualified for the position in which you applied for, you may be offered another position best suited for your talents and the company’s needs. This alternative position may or may not be offered with the same wages as the position in which you applied for. Requirements: Must have at least 4 years of recent experience in residential plumbing. Must know how to rough in a single story home according to blueprints. Descripción del trabajo: Como Journeyman Plumber, se le encargará desbastar nuestras casas, instalar accesorios de plomería y supervisar a los aprendices de plomero. Usted será responsable de coordinar con el Gerente de producción de primera línea, adherirse al cronograma de producción e informar cualquier problema a la alta gerencia si surge. También será responsable de informar las actualizaciones diarias de producción al equipo de gestión. Kairos Homes construye sus casas como una línea de montaje. Tenemos un equipo que no hace más que construir y levantar las paredes, un equipo que pone las vigas y un equipo dedicado a levantar el techo. Se le evaluará en su primer día para determinar para qué equipo se clasificó mejor y se colocó en ese equipo. Esto se basará en su entrevista práctica que ocurrirá a primera hora de su "fecha de inicio". Si se determina que no está calificado para el puesto que solicitó, se le puede ofrecer otro puesto que se adapte mejor a sus talentos y las necesidades de la empresa. Este puesto alternativo puede o no ofrecerse con el mismo salario que el puesto que has aplicado. Requisitos: Debe tener al menos 4 años de experiencia reciente en plomería residencial. Debe saber cómo desbastar en una casa de un solo piso de acuerdo con los planos. Debe tener sus propias herramientas manuales y transporte confinable.
