Job Description:
The responsibilities of a construction coordinator include completing repair projects on various build sites and managing work teams, tools, and the material budget. In this role, you plan and oversee each project, determine the required budget, and purchase the needed materials and equipment. You are expected to work and communicate regularly with inspectors and manage subcontractors and other employees to ensure they are fulfilling all job obligations on schedule. Other duties include keeping updated project documentation, plans, and expenses and reporting progress to upper management.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED certificate, hands-on experience in building construction, and the ability to read building plans.
At least two years of construction administration experience.
Must have excellent communication and leadership skills, the ability to work well on a team, and the ability to maintain working relationships with co-workers, contractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
Strong negotiation skills to negotiate material prices effectively, and you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $60,000
Experience: Minimum 2 years
