Description

It's Midnight Somewhere! DC bars must close at 10 PM, we can't observe NYE traditionally so we are celebrating across the globe! Wunder Garten is ringing in the 2021 New Year with a socially distanced New Year’s Eve (NYE) party on Thursday, December 31 from 3 PM to 10 PM. The 13,000 SqFt. NoMa beer garden will be celebrating the end of 2020 not once, but six times, because “It’s Midnight Somewhere!” Wunder Garten will safely celebrate the New Year across six time-zones, which include the countries of Kenya, Greece, Germany, the United Kingdom, Cape Verde and Brazil. To help people celebrate, balls will drop for each ringing of the new year in each time zone, fire pits will warm you outside while hot drinks will heat you inside, and of course, champagne will be abundant. Whether you want to warm up by a fire pit or heated cabanas, or pavilion, Wunder Garten has it. To ring in the new year in each time zone, Wunder Garten will offer individual champagne bottles, as well as champagne flutes and sparklers, which will be provided by Segura Viudas, a Spanish vineyard producing world class sparkling wines since 1959. Wunder Garten will also be ringing in the New Year with an exciting announcement: DMV’s long-time favorite food truck turned restaurant, Swizzler, will not only be on-site for the NYE festivities, but will also be the new full-time food vendor at Wunder Garten for a 2021 filled with affordable, delicious all-American favorites, including Swizz Stacks and classic burgers.
