Recyclops brings recycling to communities all across the country that traditionally would not have access to it. Did you know that 7% of all landfill space comes from diapers? Recyclops is facilitating a diaper composting program to reduce the impact that plastic diapers have on the environment. These diapers are made out of bamboo and can just be tossed into the compost heap after you're done with it. This compost can then be used for purposes such as road base and sod farms. This is a great way to help conserve the environment and do a great thing for the planet. We are looking for independent contractors to be drivers in Chicago, IL to help us perform a diaper pickup route. Customers will be placing their bags of used diapers on their doorstep and Recyclops is collecting them as part of a composting program. Routes are carried out Every Monday. The schedule is flexible. This will be a Side/Part Time opportunity. This route is coming to Chicago near the end of January. What you'll do: - Drive your own vehicle around your community, pick up diaper bags, complete a pickup route and take the bags to a drop-off location - The route will likely take about 3-4 hours to complete each day - Routes can be started as early as 6:00 am; routes must be started by 9:00 am and must be completed before 4:00 pm The diaper bags do an excellent job of containing smells, and in general keep the process neat & convenient Earn an average of up to $25 per hour Drivers must be at least 21 years of age To be a Recyclops driver you will need: - a drivers license, - a Vehicle (Sedan, SUV, Truck, etc. any vehicle will work) - vehicle insurance - vehicle registration Recyclops is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, seeking to create a welcoming and diverse environment.
