Hiring Team Members for Habitat Restoration Company
Are you tired of sitting at home and trying to find meaningful things to occupy your time? Are you interested in nature and the environment? We can teach you about native plants and habitats, habitat restoration and removing invasive plants from natural areas!
We are based out of Chapel Hill but are on the road most of the time and our area of coverage is in the southeast (North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina). We offer competitive wages, per diem and travel costs while on the road.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Assist in the vegetative management component of stream restoration and wetland construction through the use of native woody and herbaceous plants and assist in the removal of invasive species related to riparian buffers and restoration sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position requires the team member to work outside in varied conditions in all types of weather and have the ability to identify plants, both desirable native plants and undesirable non-native plants.
