Cinema Vehicle Services is the leading automotive rental and fabrication company in the Motion Picture Industry. We have a diverse selection of over 1500 vehicles that we provide to Motion Pictures, TV Series and Commercials. Immediate opening for a Lot Porter Job Description Essential Functions: • Check In/Out vehicles for rent • Prepare vehicles for rent – wash/clean all vehicles as needed • Assist with loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, pulling or staging vehicles for delivery. • Ensure excellent service is provided to customers • Inspect all vehicles when leaving the lot • Inspect returned vehicles for any damages • Maintain car battery station • Perform work as assigned by Management Required Skills • Ability to operate yard equipment required, loader and forklift experience preferred • Excellent communication skills • Able to work in a fast pace environment and adapt to constant change throughout the shift. • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail • Occasional O.T. as needed • The ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends. • HS Diploma or GED, must have a valid driver’s license with clean record • Need to be able to drive stick shift as well as automatic • Knowledge of vehicles and minor mechanical experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Constantly move around the property by walking for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift • Standing and kneeling for extended period of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift • Must be able to lift 65lbs WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift. Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather. Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes. Pay rage is $15.00 an hour to start with a pay raise after 90-day probation period. Located in North Hollywood, CA This is a full- time position with benefits.
