Valley Group, Inc. a 42 year-old industrial, logistics & heavy haul services company is seeking an escort driver for our Heavy Haul division. This position involves driving a pickup truck in support of our oversize/overweight truckloads. The company support truck is outfitted with emergency flashing lights, flags, CB radio, and a high-pole for use as a required escort vehicle on permitted trips. In this role, the escort accompanies the loaded truck to assist in switching lanes, crossing over/under bridges, entering/exiting highways, and working with everyone involved to ensure a safe trip. The position mainly involves driving but our escorts assist in all aspects of the trip, including the loading/unloading, chaining, and tarping of the load. The minimum requirements for this position include a standard drivers license with limited moving violations and a willingness to travel. Prior experience as an escort driver is not required. Valley offers competitive weekly pay (with overtime after 40 hours and/or on weekends) including holiday and vacation, full benefit plan with medical, dental, vision, life, disability & 401 (k) plan w/profit sharing.
